Responsibilities:

  • Chief Executive Officer including the overall strategic planning for the College.
  • Ensuring course portfolio remains relevant and consistent in terms of quality.
  • To oversee pioneering learning and teaching techniques.
  • Sharing best practice and interacting with HFE and business leaders.
  • To ensure good governance and endorse innovation.
  • To work closely with the Board of Management for the benefit of staff, students and partners.

Dr Sheila Lodge, Depute Principal and Chief Operating Officer

Dr Sheila Lodge Depute Principal and Chief Operating Officer.


Responsibilities:

  • Executive-level leadership of day to day operations (academic and support).
  • Promoting a culture of inspiration, excellence and innovation.
  • Supporting the Principal in the general management of the college.
  • Deputising for the Principal as required.

  • Executive Leadership responsibility for Corporate Development and Innovation.
  • Lead the College’s provision for International, Commercial and Corporate Development.
  • Champion of change, communication, continuous improvement and empowerment.

Dr Claire Carney, Vice Principal Student Experience

Dr Claire Carney Vice Principal Student Experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strategic development and inspirational leadership of all aspects of learning and teaching environment and the student experience.
  • Provide strategic leadership and ensure the delivery of student experience is responsive to the needs of the diverse range of learners.
  • Play a pivotal role in the successful realisation of the Board of Management priority for a step change in performance.   
  • Act as a creative leader, operating at all times to support the College values, behaviours and corporate management
