Overview

Join our Developmental Drawing Night Class, open to complete beginners and experienced artists. These relaxed sessions focus on building skills through exploration, with a special emphasis on experimentation and composition—learning how to organise 2D space, create balance and strengthen visual impact. 

You’ll experiment with graphite, charcoal, pen, chalk, ink and bleach, working across a range of paper surfaces to discover how different materials shape tone, texture and expression. Through guided exercises and supportive feedback, you’ll develop confidence, creativity and a more intentional drawing practice. 

Come along to experiment, refine your skills and enjoy dedicated time to draw each week. 

This course is an excellent stepping stone for those looking to progress into daytime courses or prepare a portfolio for art school.
