Overview

This course offers you a robust and exciting introduction to the study of fine art and gives you the opportunity to build up a rich and varied portfolio of work. It is ideal for individuals with ambitions towards a creative career. The course will help you develop key practical artistic skills and will help enhance your understanding of contemporary art in general.  You will be encouraged to develop your creativity and your awareness of specialist skills and techniques, taking ownership of your own unique creative voice.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • English and Art & Design at Intermediate 2 or Credit level Standard Grade: OR
  • Two National 5 qualifications in English and Art & Design: OR
  • Related experience.

 

You'll be invited to a group and/or individual interview where you can find out more about the course and tell us why you're interested in this subject. At the interview, you'll be asked to provide examples of your art and design work.
