Overview
Step into the world of animation and game design with this Creative Computing course. Focused on both 3D and 2D modelling and animation techniques, you’ll learn how to create dynamic characters, immersive environments, engaging narratives and striking visual assets for games, interactive media and beyond. This course blends practical skills with theoretical knowledge, giving you the foundation to progress into advanced study in 3D Computer Animation, Games Development, and related creative technologies.
This course is placed on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework at Level 6.
Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
- Three National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above including English and an Arts or STEM based subject; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

ESOL entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
