Overview
This course will help you to develop the skills required for employment in the aviation or airport ground industry. It covers everything from customer service and employability skills to health and safety procedures.

Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
- Three National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above including English; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
Additional selection requirements
- It is recommended that you are at least 17 for the start of the course. Airlines employ cabin crew from 18 years old.
- You must be taller than 5 feet 2 inches.
- You must be able to swim 25 metres and tread water for 1 minute.
- You must hold a valid EU passport and the right to work in the UK.
- You must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Some airlines may also have additional criteria.

ESOL entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
