Overview

This course will introduce you to the art of pastry and teach you how to produce a wide range of pastry items, including plated desserts for dinner parties. The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of home baking.  You'll learn the basics of bread, pudding and confectionery. 

If you like to start your day with a fresh pastry - this course could be for you.

 You’ll complete nine weeks of demonstration-led cookery lessons, creating breads, desserts and confectionery. 

This short course may inspire you to explore our other evening classes or even pursue a full-time program in Culinary Arts and Bakery.

Materials

All equipment is provided. You will be required to bring your ingredients with you after week 1. You will need containers to take your products home in. 

Dress code

Wear suitable comfortable clothing and footwear for the kitchen or bakery along with an apron to protect your clothes and bring a tea towel.
