The DigiInventors Challenge
Working with the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre, Heriot-Watt University, Dubai and other industry partners, the DigiInventors Challenge is a unique programme to inspire young people to create impactful solutions using digital technologies.
We’re also proud to host the DigiInventors Primary Challenge Award ceremony.
What is the DigiInventors Challenge: Fueling the Future of Digital Health
The DigiInventors Challenge is Scotland’s premier innovation program, designed to equip primary and secondary school pupils with the digital and entrepreneurial skills required for the modern economy. It moves beyond traditional learning to drive the real-world application of technology. Participants engage directly with challenges in the digital health and care sector by designing, prototyping, and pitching their viable digital solutions.
As the key Scottish Education partner, we provide essential support through intensive innovation boot camps. These workshops are fundamental to refining team strategies, focusing on developing robust business models and creating market-ready marketing plans, ultimately preparing students for successful and rewarding STEM careers.
The Value of Participation: Skills for a Digital Future
Participating in the Challenge gives students a set of transferable skills that extend far beyond the classroom:
- Digital Innovation and Coding:
Participants gain practical experience with design tools, prototyping platforms, and an understanding of the technology stack required for digital product development. - Design Thinking:
