Contemporary Art Practice
Our contemporary art practice degree courses will allow you to explore and develop your creative art practice through a wide variety of disciplines. Using our dedicated studios, you’ll have opportunities to explore two and three dimensional art as well as digital and lens based practices. You’ll also have opportunities to undertake a professional placement in the arts as part of your course.
Fine Art
Our fine art courses will allow you to experiment across a wide range of specialised areas including sculpture, performance, painting, drawing, film, video, photography, printmaking, sound and digital media. You'll study in dedicated studios and stunning technical workshops where you can develop your individual and collaborative creative practice in a range of traditional media and new technologies.
Photography
Our photography courses will help you develop your own individual style as you produce an exceptional portfolio of work. You’ll work on a range of live and dynamic project briefs that engage with the professional world across a variety of industries. You’ll be supported by outstanding analogue and digital resources within our state-of-the-art photography and lighting studios, digital suites and dark room.
Printmaking
Taught by specialist printmakers, our creative printmaking course will introduce you to the traditional and essential techniques of screen-printing. In our hands-on project-based course you’ll develop imagery through the traditional process printing as well as experimenting with contemporary printmaking, drawing, digital media and bookbinding, to complement and extend the creative image-making possibilities. You'll benefit from learning in our dedicated printmaking studio spaces.
