  • Charlie Waller Trust the original co-creators of Students Against Depression, provide evidence-based mental health resources, downloadable wellness action plans, and depression guides tailored for students and young people.
  • Mind provides information about depression, its symptoms and possible causes, and how you can access support. Includes tips on caring for yourself and guidance for friends and family.
  • Self-compassion by Dr Kristen Neff provides information on what self-compassion is and exercises to develop our own self-compassion, which could help dissolve self-critical and negative thoughts.

Post and Pre-Natal Depression

  • Action on Postpartum Psychosis is a charity for women and families affected by postpartum psychosis. They offer peer support services, psychoeducation, and training. 
  • Maternal Mental Health Alliance is a UK-wide charity and network dedicated to ensuring women, birthing people and families affected by perinatal mental health problems have access to care and support.
  • PANDAS provides support for parents experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties through peer support, WhatsApp support and bookable callback services.
  • CrossReach Bluebell Perinatal service offers therapy for families or carers expecting a baby or with a child aged under 2.
