EDI Interfaith Awareness

We're proud to celebrate and value the diversity of all our students, staff and visitors. We're also proud to create a positive working, learning and teaching environment where every belief is respected.

To do this, we work hard to educate and raise awareness of the many cultural, religious, non-religious and philosophical beliefs represented on campus.

Interfaith Awareness Month

November is Interfaith Awareness Month in the College, with Interfaith Week taking place in Scotland from 11th-18th November. This year’s theme is “Connecting Generations”, which links with the “Year of Young People” declared by the Scottish Government. Interfaith week will also take place over the same week in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Established by Interfaith Scotland in 2004, Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity for individuals, local interfaith groups and faith communities across the country to plan events that bring local people together to promote dialogue, understanding and co-operation between Scotland's diverse religious communities.
