Overview
This course covers the fundamentals of CAD for Furniture makers: Fusion 360 and SketchUp, focusing on the tools and techniques that are most useful for furniture design and production. Whether you are new to CAD or looking to improve your skills, you will gain hands-on experience in creating 3D models, generating technical drawings, and learning how to efficiently work CAD.

Minimum entry requirements
No prior experience necessary although some experience in furniture making is recommended.
What you study
- Learn how to navigate Fusion 360 and SketchUp
- Understand how to set up and manipulate 3D models.
- Learn how to create designs that are adaptable and easy to modify.
- Develop and refine 3D models as needed throughout the design process.
- Produce realistic renderings to visualise and communicate your ideas effectively.
