Overview

The CMI Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed for practising or aspiring managers who are accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The focus of this role is on leading and managing individuals and teams to deliver objectives that align with wider organisational strategy. 

With City of Glasgow College’s self-directed study option, you’ll have the freedom to complete your qualification at your own pace, making it easier to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Although the course is flexible, you’ll still benefit from access to our expert CMI tutors, who will provide guidance and feedback throughout your learning journey.  

You can choose to study either: 

  • Award – 1 unit.
  • Certificate – 3 units.

 Units available include: 

  • Principles of Management and Leadership in an Organisational Context.
  • Forming Successful Teams.
  • Managing Change.

This self-directed pathway allows you to fit your studies around your schedule while working towards a prestigious Chartered Management Institute qualification that can enhance your leadership capability and career prospects.
