Overview
This is a school college partnership course for school pupils only.
This online course provides Secondary Students across Scotland with the opportunity to study Higher Italian.
Taught by a native speaker, this programme combines rigorous academic standards with engaging, interactive content, ensuring learners can develop both language proficiency and cultural understanding in a modern, accessible format.
Italian is rich in history and culture, as well as being a beautiful language to listen to, and speak. It is spoken in Switzerland, San Marino and parts of Croatia and Slovenia, as well as Italy itself.
Italy is a major economy in the world, and the seventh-largest global market for British exports. So, there are plenty of opportunities to use Italian in a wide range of industries and organisations. It is one of the top five business languages currently in demand in the UK.
This course will develop your reading, listening, talking and writing skills in Italian. In addition, the course also provides you with knowledge of Italy and the customs and way of life of the Italian people.
Attendance Pattern
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5pm-7.30pm (online).
Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
