Emails are being sent to eligible graduands week beginning Monday 6 Oct. Emails will be sent in batches throughout the week. If you think you are eligible to graduate and haven't received an invite by Friday 10 October, please let us know - graduation@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk.

Next Steps
Your invitation email will contain a username and password, which should be used to confirm your attendance at your graduation ceremony. You should let us know if you are attending using the link below before the closing date Friday 31 October.
Check Your Details
The name used for graduation purposes will be the same as it appears on your invite email. If you want to make any changes, please update your “known as” name on City Life by Monday 20th October. No changes will be accepted after this deadline - Guide to changing your personal details.
Academic Gowns
All graduands must wear academic gowns on the day, book your gown at Ede and Ravenscroft. We may be able to offer some students financial support to hire robes. Please contact: graduation@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk.
Ceremony Timings
There are three ceremonies on the day. You can only graduate from the ceremony you are invited to:-
- Ceremony 1 at 11am: Faculty of Creative Industries.
- Ceremony 2 at 3pm: Faculty of Hospitality & Leisure and Faculty of Nautical & STEM.
- Ceremony 3 at 7pm: Faculty of Education & Humanities and Professional Courses.

Invitation emails sent out to eligible students in batches. All emails will be sent by Friday 10 October. |
Mon 6 October |
Using the login details provided on your graduation invite email, confirm your attendance. All graduates must wear a graduation gown and hood. The link to hire a gown will be on the invite email and the college website. |
Fri 31 October |
The link to confirm your attendance will close at 5pm on Friday 31 October. If you do not confirm your attendance by this date, it may not be possible to attend the ceremony. |
Tues 4 November |
The guest ticket booking link will go live on our website at 12 noon on Tuesday 4 November. This is for guest tickets only. Graduands do not need to book a ticket for themselves. You will be issued a ticket on graduation day when you register at the Concert Hall. |
Mon 3 November |
The link to hire a graduation gown online closes. However, you can still hire a gown on graduation day from the Ede & Ravenscroft gowning desk (subject to availability). |
Mon 24 November |

Social Event
We love to see your graduation photos and videos, follow us on social media and share your day using #CoGCGrad. We'll be posting our own photos and videos so keep an eye on all our social channels.
Live Stream
We'll be live-streaming all ceremonies for students, friends and family unable to join us. The videos will also be available on our YouTube channel following the event.

Privacy Notice
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data will be processed for and during the event and provides guidance should you not wish your data to be processed in this way. This applies to all students intending to graduate or may be eligible for an award, whether they attend a ceremony or not.
Alumni Association
Every student who graduates from City is invited to register for our Alumni Association and join an expanding community.
