The perfect place to study

Our libraries offer a welcoming and comfortable learning environment, with group, individual and quiet study areas.

Membership is automatic for all full-time and part-time students and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help. You'll also receive a full induction to help you make the most of our services, including:

  • Books, periodicals, DVDs, videos and online resources.
  • A wide range of workshops.
  • Excellent IT running advanced software.
  • WiFi to help work from your own computer.
  • Printing and photocopying.
  • Stationery at competitive prices.

City Campus

Our term-time opening hours are: 

  • Mon - Thurs: 08:30 - 21:00 *
  • Friday: 08:30 - 17:00

During holidays, the library is open from 09:00 to 17:00.

Please note that all computers need to be shut down 15 minutes before closing time. 

* The library is currently staffed 08:30-19:00 Monday - Thursday, with self-service running between the hours of 19:00 and 21:00 Monday - Thursday.

Riverside Campus

Our term-time opening hours are:

  • Friday: 08:30 - 17:00

Library Catalogue

The library catalogue allows you to browse our wide collection of books, journals, DVDs, multimedia and e-books. You can also renew and reserve books online and access reading lists to support your course.
