Here at the City of Glasgow College we have upgraded our wireless network to provide a better experience for students. The Wifi service is available at our Charles Oakley, Townhead, North Hanover Street and Riverside buildings as well at the new decant buildings.
The City-College wifi service allows students to browse the internet with wifi enabled devices. To get access go to your wifi settings on your device and search for available networks. Select the City-college service then start a web browser. You will see a web page, where you will need to enter your college username and password, before you can access the internet. Please note that the City-College service does not provide access to college network resources such as home directories or printing.
College owned Laptops will be ‘WiFi ready’ to easily access the college network.  It will just be a matter of entering your college username and password at the logon screen; just as you would at a desktop PC in a classroom. Once logged on you will have access to network shares and printing.
