Scholars' Restaurant

Student working in Scholars Training Restaurant at City campus.

Scholars’ is our licensed training restaurant located on the ground floor of our City campus on Cathedral Street.

The restaurant is open to the public and operates as part of the course programme for students who are working, or who anticipate working within the Hospitality Industry. Trainees are timetabled to cook and serve meals under the supervision of lecturers.

The restaurant is open five days a week from 12pm - 2pm from September to May, and we would encourage guests to arrive between 12 and 12.30pm. There is a daily set menu offering a varied choice - 2 courses £9 or 3 courses £12.

We encourage feedback from guests, so students are able to learn from your comments. It's extremely busy throughout the year and occasionally if we are unable to accept your booking please speak to us and we'll arrange an alternative date for you.

The bar at Scholars' supports the service of the restaurant. Please note that we only serve beverages with food.  Our wines are purchased from Inverarity Morton.  It is important that students have the opportunity to serve wines and other drinks as part of their training.

The Bistro is located on the first floor and is an informal self-service food outlet. The food is prepared and served by students who study on Events, Food & Hospitality courses. It is open Mon-Fri from 10am - 1pm. We have filled homemade rolls at break times and a selection of dishes during lunchtime.

It is open to students, staff and visitors to the college.
