A Firm Commitment
When it comes to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, we're firmly committed to delivering our moral, corporate and legal responsibilities.
EDI
Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is not just about meeting legal obligations; it's about fostering a culture where every individual can thrive, regardless of their background or identity. We believe that a diverse college community is stronger, enriching the learning and working experience for all. Through continuous engagement, we strive to embed EDI principles into every aspect of college life, from our curriculum to our campus policies.
EDI in Practice
- Accessibility and Support: We are continuously improving the physical and digital accessibility of our campuses and resources. This includes providing dedicated support services for students with disabilities and making sure our online platforms are easy to use for everyone.
- Partnerships and Community Engagement: We collaborate with local community groups, charities, and organizations to promote EDI beyond our campus walls. These partnerships help us better understand and serve the diverse needs of the Glasgow community.
- Celebrating Diversity: We host a variety of events and activities throughout the year to celebrate the diverse cultures, identities, and traditions within our college. Events such as our "Embracing Diversity Competition" are key examples of how we encourage creativity and cross-cultural understanding.
